About Zrikev0ting

Built for oversight, not obsession

Zrikev0ting started from a simple observation: most people who hold investments don't want to stare at charts all day, but they still want to know when something meaningful happens. We built a daily reporting system to close that gap — consistent, readable, and honest about what it can and can't tell you.

This page outlines how we think about the product, the principles that guide our decisions, and what you can expect from working with us.

Where we started

The gap between constant monitoring and total neglect

Portfolio tools tend to fall into two camps: dashboards that demand attention every day, or brokerage statements that only show up once a month. Neither matches how most people actually want to stay informed.

  • Too much noise Real-time tickers and alerts create anxiety without adding useful context for long-term decisions.
  • Too little visibility Monthly or quarterly statements arrive too late to explain what actually happened and why.
  • No consistent format Switching between apps, spreadsheets, and broker emails makes it hard to track change over time.

We designed Zrikev0ting around a single cadence — once a day, in a consistent format — so reviewing your portfolio becomes a short, predictable habit rather than an open-ended task.

Our mission

Give people clear, dependable portfolio reporting

We focus on one job and try to do it well: summarize what changed in your portfolio and flag anything worth your attention, every day, without demanding constant engagement.

Consistency over hype

We would rather deliver the same reliable report every day than chase features that look impressive but add noise.

Clarity over complexity

Reports are written to be understood quickly, not to showcase every data point we could technically include.

Respect for your time

The product is built so that checking in takes minutes, not hours — that's the entire point of daily cadence.

What guides us

Principles behind how we build

These aren't abstract values on a wall — they shape specific decisions about what we build and what we leave out.

1

Plain language

Reports avoid unnecessary jargon. If a term needs explaining, we explain it in the report itself.

2

No manufactured urgency

We flag genuine changes worth noticing — we don't invent alerts to keep you checking in more often.

3

Transparent limitations

Automated analysis has boundaries. We're upfront about what the reporting does and doesn't cover.

4

Data handling discipline

Portfolio information is sensitive. We treat access and storage with the caution that deserves.

The team

A small, focused group

Zrikev0ting is built by a small team working across product, data analysis, and engineering. We stay deliberately focused on one core workflow — daily portfolio reporting — rather than expanding into unrelated financial products.

We're a growing operation, and we'd rather be precise about our size and stage than overstate it. As the team and the product develop, we'll share more here.

Where we're headed

What comes next

Our near-term focus is making the daily report itself more useful and more precise, rather than adding features that dilute the core experience. Longer term, we're interested in giving users more control over how and when they receive reporting — without moving away from the daily, low-friction rhythm that the product is built around.
